JAMES HARDIE® BOARD & BATTEN SIDING James Hardie® Board and Batten Siding mimics the classic log cabin-style design, but uses durable fiber cement instead of wood to prevent moisture damage and deter pests. Fiber cement siding also requires less maintenance, making this the type of siding the best choice for homeowners. James Hardie® fiber cement siding is available in a wide range of colors and textures so homeowners can reflect their personal tastes. For this project, our client chose an offwhite for a more traditional aesthetic.

OWENS CORNING® DURATION SHINGLES We recommended Owens Corning® Duration asphalt shingles to our client for ultimate durability and longevity. These shingles use a fiberglass mat as the core substrate material, which is coated on both sides with weathering-grade asphalt. These materials boost flexibility, defend against high winds, offer greater fire and UV ray resistance, and repel excess moisture through heat-activated adhesive strips.

METAL ROOF Metal roofs are an excellent choice because of their durability, fire resistance, energy efficiency, and overall curb appeal. Metal roofs can also be customized to reflect a variety of looks such as slate, tile, shingles, or vertical panels. By placing a metal roof over the front porch and garage, our contractors provided a modern twist to complement the board and batten siding and tastefully contrast against the home’s stone foundation.
